How to Manage Your Fortnite Accounts – Migrating From Xbox Live to Xbox One

As I sit here and look at my Fortnite account, I have to ask myself if I’m missing something out. Is it that the Fortnite accounts aren’t merging with the Facebook accounts? I certainly don’t see anything in the Fortnite accounts that would make me want to merge them; even the Facebook ones seem pretty robust.

So is there any reason to merge accounts? Well, there are a few reasons, but they’re not really that important. First of all, you can only use the Fortnite interface if you’re using Facebook; that means that you get to limit how many cosmetic items you can buy, and you have to accept all of their rules and policies. In a way, that’s more of an obligation than a feature. But having to accept the terms and conditions of another social networking site is really no big deal, especially when you consider that most people tend to do those things anyway.

Another reason why it makes sense to merge the Fortnite and Facebook accounts is that if you do choose to merge the two, you will be able to use your existing Facebook friends list to search for your Fortnite levels. The problem with this is that you might have quite a few low level friends on Facebook, but none of them may actually be willing to try a Fortnite level. That’s where a secondary profile comes in handy. You can then invite all of your Facebook friends to join your new secondary account, and all of their levels will be available to you when you log into the game. You can get more information about Fortnite accounts.

The only drawback is that you’ll have to find someplace to store all of those profiles. That’s a small thing to worry about, since most of us probably have space already, but it’s still a nuisance to have to sort through profiles one by one. For that reason, I’d recommend trying to merge the two accounts as soon as possible, if you still have the means to do so.

You can also try to merge accounts using third party software. There are a number of these programs out there, which means that you shouldn’t have a hard time finding one that works. Most of them will allow you to merge your primary account and your secondary one at the same time, which will allow you to share your information between the two. Just make sure that whichever program you use is compatible with Xbox One.

There are a number of ways to handle the merging of the Fortnite accounts. All of them have their advantages, and some of them have downsides. It really comes down to what you want to get out of the experience. If you just want to have the ability to quickly load up on your Xbox One and jump into the game, then merging the Fortnite accounts is probably something that you can live without, provided that you aren’t going to be spending a lot of time between the two accounts.
